With PQE3+, the ideal candidate will have good technical and procedural knowledge and an ability and desire to share it with, and support other more junior members of the team.
You will be joining a busy legal team who are exposed to high-quality work, and running a caseload of complex and varied property finance matters,
We are a reputable law firm based in the UK with a dedicated team of 50 staff members and growing, providing exceptional legal services to our clients. The Property Finance Solicitor role is a key component of the Property Finance Team to provide the expertise needed to deliver a great and consistent service to our clients along with contributing to the overall happiness of our clients and the Property Finance Team.
You will report directly to the Partner/Head of Commercial Property and work alongside her to deliver a well-run, efficient and well organised Property Finance Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and oversee real estate finance transactions from initial instruction through to completion, ensuring efficient execution for both separate and dual representation matters.
- Provide high-quality legal advice to clients on a range of real estate finance matters, including acquisition finance, investment loans, capital raises and refinancing.
- Conduct thorough due diligence, reviewing property titles, legal documents, and other relevant materials to assess financing arrangements, identifying potential risks, and advising clients on necessary actions.
- Negotiate key commercial terms and conditions in loan agreements, security documents, and other related contracts on behalf of clients.
- Draft, review, and amend a variety of legal documents including facility agreements, security documents, and related documentation.
- Identify legal risks and advise clients on risk mitigation strategies, ensuring that all transactions comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Work closely with other teams in the firm, including real estate, corporate, and finance departments, to deliver integrated solutions to clients.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service delivery and effective communication, ensuring long-term client retention.
- Adhering to the SLA terms within the provided time frame.
- Handling multiple transactions simultaneously, ensuring that each is completed within the set deadline date in a professional manner.
- Ability to manage and prioritise high volume caseload in a fast paced environment.
- Prioritising urgent matters effectively while maintaining attention to details across all tasks.
- Maintain accurate and up to date records of multiple ongoing cases.
