The Altrincham & Sale Chamber of Commerce
The Altrincham & Sale Chamber of Commerce was established in 1909 as the Altrincham & District Traders Association; by the late nineties becoming Greater Altrincham Chamber of Commerce, Trade & Industry and in March 1999 incorporated the Sale Chamber of Commerce & Trade. In November 2005 the name was simplified to the Altrincham & Sale Chamber of Commerce and it continues to represent the interests of businesses within the South Trafford area.
The Chamber is an independent, non-political business organisation owned and run by its membership who often comment on the close feeling of ‘business family’ within the Chamber. In 2009 it celebrated its centenary – 100 years of service to local businesses.
The vision of the Altrincham and Sale Chamber of Commerce is “To contribute to the sustained economic viability, prosperity and sense of business community of the area in which we operate”.
