About our Iran Desk
Pursuant to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) agreed on 14 July 2015 and implemented on 16 January 2016, sanctions against Iran were partially lifted. This presented great opportunity for business with Iran. However, trade with Iran has been slow to progress due to other US sanctions and policy and in 2018 the US unlawfully withdrew from the JCPOA agreement.
To best serve our clients and protect their interests, our firm has gone even further. We have obtained bank authorisations to receive funds from Iran. In this way, we have overcome the biggest obstacle to working with Iran i.e. banking.
This development is in line with our history of vigorously defending our clients, and thinking outside the box. We are confident we can help you take advantage of this new era of international trade with Iran, while also protecting you from sanction-related complications.
