The award-winning team at Blackstone Solicitors are looking for individuals driven by wanting to make a difference for our clients, our employees, and our community. We are looking to recruit a qualified Commercial Litigation Solicitor to work in our growing Commercial Litigation team.
With at least 3 years PQE, the ideal candidate will have good technical and procedural knowledge and an ability and desire to work on their own caseloads whilst also assisting senior members of the team with larger cases.
You will be joining a busy legal team who are exposed to high-quality work, and running a caseload of complex and varied commercial litigation matters.
We are a reputable law firm based in the UK with a dedicated team of 50 staff members and growing, providing exceptional legal services to our clients. The Commercial Litigation Solicitor role is a key component of the Commercial Litigation Team to provide the expertise needed to deliver a great and consistent service to our clients along with contributing to the overall happiness of our clients and the Commercial Litigation Team.
You will report directly to the Partner/Head of Commercial Litigation and be motivated to deliver a well-run, efficient and well organised Commercial Litigation Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adopting a tenacious approach to litigation by striving to obtain the best result for clients, acting at speed and always promoting their best interests.
- Diligent with exceptional attention to detail.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Identify legal risks and advise clients, during the lifetime of their case, on their prospects and costs exposure.
- Enthusiastic about maintaining high standards of client care.
- Must be a strong tactical lawyer with excellent commercial skills.
- Work closely with other teams in the firm, including real estate, corporate, and finance departments, to deliver integrated solutions to clients.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service delivery and effective communication, ensuring long-term client retention.
- Adhere to clients’ respective SLA terms within the provided time frame.
- Handle multiple cases simultaneously, ensuring that each is completed within the set deadline in a professional manner.
- Ability to manage and prioritise a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of multiple ongoing cases.
